The Dock and Riverside Patio
The Water Access… is a short stroll down and across the road and trail to a secluded patio and dock at the Riverside. Clear and refreshing for swimming, lounging, and all sorts of 3 season activities. Canoeing/Kayaking, Paddle Board and Sailing are all very popular, but just catching some sun rays on a floaty is a perfect afternoon with family or friends.
Although not deeded access, the Helen Mills property may be eligible to apply for a permit to access the dock under the municipal bylaw to become effective.
The Club Cascades and Summer Camp
The Club Cascades… is a private activities club mainly for families and locals who enjoy sports, summer camps, and social activities. The Clubhouse is at the “Hilltop”, while the Boathouse and waterfront are a short walk along the Voie Verte Trail from the dock. Members can use the facilities, sports equipment, and watercraft or use their own if preferred.
Many high level athletes have been training since youth and become strong members in their sports through the club. Team sports like Dragon Boating, Canoeing, and Kayaking are well structured here.
The Summer Camp has become very popular, and is exciting and healthy for youth.

Water and fun go hand in hand, and especially when it is so accessible on a daily basis. No need for a Cottage or recreation property when it is all available right here in plain view.
There is Powerboating on the Gatineau River, but seems to be less popular than other watercraft.
Float Plane Aerodrome
Cascades Aerodrome… is operated by a private club of 6 float plane owners for personal use. It is very entertaining to view the occasional take offs and landings by these skillful pilots on the river. Which leads to say the river is such an attraction of ever changing dynamics, and the view from this property sees the full range from boating and water activities, to the peace and tranquility of calm water, or snow covered ice. It is an everchanging canvas
